I read on lots of blogs that iPhoto on Mac OS X or Picasa on Windows are the best software for photos management, but I think the more control you have on your photos, the better software application it is.

I write this little article on my tech blog, daydream. Well, I think ZIP format should be a standard on all platforms (Mac OS, Windows, Linux, BSD) and not to be alterated by applications like WinZIP. In the article I present a method how to compress better in ZIP using 7-Zip.
